A Day to Remember on the Water: The Lemon Family’s Florida Fishing Adventure

The Lemon family made the trip from Colorado to experience some true Florida inshore fishing—and they picked the perfect day to do it with Captain Kevin of Niteline Charters.

This fun crew of five hit the water ready for action, and the fish did not disappoint. From the very first lines in the water, the bite stayed strong all day. Sea trout, hard-fighting jack crevalle, mangrove snapper, and more kept rods bent and reels screaming.

The real highlight of the trip was the friendly (and sometimes not-so-friendly 😄) competition between the three boys and their dad. Every hookup sparked a new round of bragging rights—Who caught the biggest? Who caught the most? Who lost the most fish? The scoreboard was constantly changing, and the energy on the boat stayed high from start to finish.

Between steady action, lots of laughs, and some serious fish-fighting moments, big smiles were worn by everyone on board. It was one of those trips where the fish cooperated, the weather lined up, and memories were made that will be talked about long after the vacation ends.
