Thanksgiving Day Over-slot Redfish


Normally, we are deer hunting this time of year. However, we started a new family tradition this year. Thanksgiving fishing! We made the run to the inlet at the end of the incoming tide. We Spot Locked just outside the bridge and sent down some fresh chunks of mullet. After about 15 minutes of waiting the reel on the port side began to click. My wife was up first and grabbed the rod and I began clearing the other lines. 20 minutes later we were rewarded with this 39” slob.
